After more than a decade
in the wedding & events industry in the San Juan Islands, its safe to say that I have always had a passion for events planning. After every event, I had a smile on my face because I had been a part of creating an indelible set of beautiful memories for so many families.
That level of joy was infectious, and I wanted more. So in November 2021, I decided to purchase an events company — this company — from our founder, (and mentor) Kimaya with whom I had partnered with on countless events. It was kizmet.
Kimaya’s years of industry experience and the incredible reputation she built is an exciting launch pad for the next era of the Cloud 9 brand. I am eternally grateful for the support and side by side training I have received through this transition and through the years. <3
Prior to purchasing Cloud 9 Events I held an executive position in the corporate banking space, focused on business coaching and managing a retail location. That experience and knowledge taught me was that I was ready to successfully manage a business and be my own boss.
